TOP 5 LANDING SPOTS FOR RG3

TOP 5 SPOTS FOR RG3 TO LAND

#1- BAYLOR

I mean come on. Great jerseys, Art Briles, he has a f***** statue there.... wait you can’t go back to college? (Scratch off top bucket list option)... crap, like you really can’t?

Oh well. Let's try this again.

TOP 5 NFL TEAMS FOR RG3 TO LAND

#1- BUFFALO BILLS

Take Tyrod Taylor. Now make him better. Did he just grow corn rows and became the III? With Fred Jackson gone, they've already started freeing up cap space. He’s a great fit in Greg Roman’s offense, which had Kaepernick last year in San Francisco. Imagine an offense with RG3, Shady McCoy AND Sammy Watkins..... I can hear defensive ACLs tearing already with all that speed. Bills will have an estimated $9.5 million available once final cuts are made according to Spotrac.com, so they can afford RG3 this year.

THE TRADE

Bills Get: RG3, 2nd Round Pick

Redskins Get: Marcel Dareus (He’s in the last year if his contract and feels like Buffalo     doesn’t want him. Ship him out now before you get nothing).

 #2- HOUSTON TEXANS

A littttttle too late for Hard Knocks, which is a shame, because all I can imagine is Vince Wilfork eating RG3's bag lunch every day. The Texans QBs have struggled all preseason  - just imagine Robert Griffin Jr. Jr. posted up behind a MUCH improved offensive line, with a stud like Nuk Hopkins to find when things get iffy. Griffin’s legs will create a much more credible run threat that was lost with Arian Foster sidelined for a majority of the season with a groin tear. The Texans have about $8 million in cap room, so they can afford him (RG3 is only $6.5 against the cap this year). Let Robert go back home to his Texas homeland. #FreeRG3

THE TRADE

Texans Get: RG3, 6th Round Pick

Redskins Get: Jonathan Joseph (A direly needed Cornerback to help that suspect secondary who has an $11.5 million cap number. Rookie Kevin Johnson has looked good and can take over).

#3- NEW YORK JETS

In a land where Ryan Fitzpatrick is your best option, Robert is made of gold (or hopefully a metal much more durable this time around). It’s really good to have a mobile QB behind a lackluster OL, which Fitz is NOT. He’ll feel right at home under the bright lights of the big city. Bryce Petty can go back to living under Griffin's shadow, so everyone wins! Good receivers can bail him out and Devin Smith can be his poor man’s Desean Jackson. Griffin hasn’t had a good BIG receiver, so he’s probably salivating just thinking about Brandon Marshall (nh).

THE TRADE

Jets Get: RG3, 6th Round Pick

Redskins Get: David Harris ($7.5 million cap number & fill a need at ILB)

#4- PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Did Yahoo NFL writer Charles Robinson write a good, logically sound article why this would be a bad fit? Yeah. Do I want to see it happen anyway? HELL YEAH! Mainly because this is America and we crave sexy moves like these. We get that the Chips are all in on Sam Bradford (pun intended), but with this trade scenario, it would be cheap insurance policy for Sam Bradford if his knee doesn't hold up. Oh and not to mention that Chip Kelly da gawd will make him a freak in that hurry up offense. Remember what Mariota did in college? That’s possible. Eagles fans rejoice, you can finally get rid of Matt Barkley!

THE TRADE

Eagles Get: RG3

Redskins Get: Matt Barkley (there’s never been a more Andy Dalton-y QB for Gruden), conditional 6th Round pick (based on RG3's playing time).

#5- CHICAGO BEARS

Give Offensive Coordinator Adam Gase a weapon. Bears fans are finally as sick of Jay Cutler as the rest of the NFL is (I still love your surly ways, Jay). They have a decent OL, anchored by Kyle Long and Jermon Bushrod. There’s big receivers for RG3 to find deep (Jeffrey & White) and two amazing security blankets in Matt Forte and Martellus Bennett.

THE TRADE

Bears Get: RG3

Redskins Get: Jay Cutler, Kadeem Carey (RB Depth for the fallen Silas Redd)

#BONUS

Redskins. Griffin would come in to replace the Turnover Tornado, Kirk Cousins. Cousins has the worst turnover rate out of 45 QBs since 2013. Just atrocious. Since I started writing this article, Cousins has thrown 1.256 interceptions. They can certainly afford him (they already are) but it's definitely not the best fit for Robert. A terrible O line protecting him and the worst NFL head coach out to get him are two very big negatives for RG3 here.

THE TRADE

Redskins Get: RG3

Redskins Get: RG3
