Week 3 was TOUGH for a lot of people. How about we all just tip one back, build our confidence back up & crush week 4?! Okay? Okay. Lets do work:
Safe- Philip Rivers ($6,900)
5 TDs and 0 INTs right now... someone tell me that he won't keep rolling against this atrocious Saints defense. Matt Ryan had 28 points against the Saints last week and Rivers is a better QB.
Value- Andy Dalton ($6,100)
This is more like a buy-low situation. Dalton isn't a bad QB by any means but he won't be amazing. He's offered at a very low price for a QB and has put up 20+ points vs. the two teams that he's played not named Denver. The Dolphins defense isn't anything special and the Bengals play on Thursday Night Football.
Safe- CJ Anderson ($6,500)
Week 3 was a freak performance by Siemian and I doubt that he will get that type of production again this week. Thanks to Trevor, CJ becomes a reasonable play against the 25th ranked rush defense in the Buccaneers. Expect Kubiak to go back to what he loves this week, and that's running the football.
Value- LeGarrette Blount ($5,000)
The man is averaging 25 carries per games, and this is probably the last time that happens with Brady coming back next week. Light up that Blount right now!
Safe- AJ Green ($8,500)
Green's wife wasn't the only one that was due. Green is slated for a monster games and is going up against a Miami Dolphins defense that is ranked 27th in yards allowed to WRs. His targets went back to double digits last week so Dalton is obviously trying to find him.
Value- Travis Benjamin ($5,900)
Rivers looks for him several times a game and his new WR1 sure makes the most of it! Benjamin is a smart play against a terrible Saints defense with all of their cornerbacks in wheelchairs. Double your pleasure by adding Rivers to the mix.
Safe- Greg Olsen ($6,000)
Three things I know in this world: 1. 25% of astronauts are left handed. 2. Jon Gruden will tell you what. 3. Greg Olsen will have a monster game to secure a Panthers win.
Value- Kyle Rudolph ($3,400)
He's developed a nice rapport with Sam Bradford, averaging 16 ppg since Slingin' Sammy took over. Pick him up against a Giants defense who doesn't have the strongest LB unit.
Safe- Cardinals DST ($3,900)
The Rams offense SUCKS when Gurley can't get going, and Arians is too smart not to stack the box with Deonne Bucannon and Tony Jefferson, who is playing lights out football this year.
Value- Vikings DST ($3,600)
The Vikings defense put up 26 points last week with 3 INTs and 8 sacks against the Panthers. Eli is calling Peyton for advice as you read this.
